1. What were the main sources of feminism’s revival in the late 1960s and early 1970s? How did this differ from the “Third Wave” of feminism in the 1990s?
The main sources of feminism’s revival in the late 1960s and early 1970s were the help of the black women and the sexual liberation with the introduction of the birth control pill. The idea was that if women of different races were united, they would have better chances to fight and make a difference. The introduction of the birth control pill would also help the revival. That means that the new generation of women was more sexually-active women and had different lifestyle from the women in 1950s. This wave differed from the Third Wave” of feminism in the 1990s because it was to unite women in groups.

I like the way you answered this question but I am confused as to why you did not answer the other questions in this blog but oh well. From what you did it shows to me that you atleast did a good job on this question. You could have also mentioned the different organizations that were being formed during those times that were there to help women have their own rights. Which includes birth control, and also sexual harassment laws. It is good that you mentioned how they started to stop seeing the differences of skin color as being a bad thing. As in that they started to as you mentioned decide to join together to get their rights, because at the end every women no matter what race or nationality wanted the same things.

i was looking for a commend to do my PR#2 becuase tommorrow i want be able to respond by 11am...anyway, yes you are right their are alot of women's revival causes in the 60s and 70s that drive women to rebell agianst certain norms as the one you added on siruns blog 13. i just want to add one more think that we can not ignore the fact of the anti-feminist rebellions of the 60s and 70s were very strong to; mostly represented by women aginst women. good luck guys on your finals..

Thank you for commenting on my blog. The reason that I did not answer all the questions is because I did not manage to do so. These last couple of weeks were very stressful, I had too much going on at school with my 17units of classes and at work with my full time job. I haven’t missed any blog and PRs before, so I am hoping that my last blog that is incomplete won’t have too much negative effect on my final grade. Also, I am glad that you liked my answer to the first question and I totally agree with your comments.
